A patient came to our centre with pain in lower left back teeth region after undergoing some dental treatment at previous dentist. On examination we diagnosed a piece of broken endodontic instrument in the periapical region of 2nd molar and the previous dentist says to extract the tooth, but our specialist performed a “piezo surgery” in which the bone was removed from the periapical region of distal root of 2nd molar and broken endodontic instrument was removed, again the bone was placed at it site and the tooth was saved.
